Blending timeless appeal with the kind of paired-back functionality you’d expect, Studio Nicholson is now launching the eagerly anticipated bag and accessories line. The unisex range for 2021 includes small and medium-sized leather goods, together with polished canvas options which have been developed over 12 months and road-tested to ensure they are built to withstand the demands of every lifestyle.
Far from frivolous, these are essential items that have been thoughtfully refined to reveal (and champion) the high-quality raw materials used. With clean lines, practical dimensions and reassuringly luxurious branded hardware, these components have been designed to enhance the modular wardrobe. Shapes, colour and proportion have all been carefully considered to ensure a seamless sense of harmony with the silhouettes, hues and brand DNA that Studio Nicholson is well-known for.
Forward-thinking is reflected in the engineering of each component. The Tokyo Tote takes a sporty route, with generous, genderless proportions and two sturdy handles. Made from weatherproof and sculptural honeycomb polished Italian cotton, this takes the notion of canvas to a seriously new, elevated level. Lined with superior quality pure cotton drill, gunmetal poppers at the side seams give the user freedom to reduce or expand the storage capacity.
Produced in Spain, the Slide aligns itself with the effortlessness of hands-free culture whilst referencing iconic mid-century duffle bags. Available in buttery soft Black or Milk leather, which has been sustainably sourced from one of Germany’s most highly reputed eco tanneries, or the weatherproof honeycomb cotton in three colours: Dove, Dark Navy or Khaki. Constructed for use as a cross-body bag with comfortable mono-strap and amplified gunmetal D-ring closure. Pockets are (of course) incorporated into both the Tokyo Tote and Sling – along with a special internal safety tab which allows you extra security.
Completing the collection are the leather Card Holder and Zip Wallet (with branded zip puller), which are both available in Milk and Black. Compact, elegant and hard-wearing, they’ve been made to cater for the needs of a simplified 2021 – and beyond.
Drop 1 available at the beginning of February.
