Leather
As leather is an animal skin, it will naturally crease and soften with wear. To remove surface dirt, you should use a clean, dry, soft cloth and gently brush away any residue. It is best to regularly check your bag to ensure there is no dirt left on the surface for long periods of time.
Treatments can be applied to leather to give it a new lease of life, such as cream or spray. If you would like to apply any of these products, we recommend you take your bag to a specialist to ensure they are properly applied.
Leather should be kept away from water. If your bag does come in to contact with water, blot dry carefully with an absorbent cloth, then fill the bag with acid-free tissue paper to hold the shape, and leave to air dry out of direct sunlight. Avoid leaving the bag near any artificial heat source. If the damage is more severe, we suggest taking it to a specialist for repair.
