A tidy top and a baggy pant is a silhouette that I get on well with. I was a keen skater girl (by way of wardrobe, not activity) in the late 90’s, where I would layer tight Hysteric Glamour tee shirts with a Carhartt work pant drawn in with an Airforce style belt. It remains a compelling silhouette even in my 40’s that is still my go to shape. Super forgiving on the body, nipping in where it should (my waist) and skimming my derriere whilst retaining a sense of order and neatness up top. There is a certain freedom and confidence that comes with wearing our balloon pant that move independently of your body, ultimately I walk tall in this silhouette.
