Quiet and unassuming wardrobe pillars are a key component of Studio Nicholson’s ethos, captured in our Balaton polo shirt. It’s cut from classic pique jersey that’s garment-dyed to create a soft, vintage effect and constructed with side vents: a subtle nod to the polo shirts originally worn by tennis players in the late 1920s and used here to ensure comfort and ease of movement.

Nick Wakeman, creative director and founder of Studio Nicholson unpicks the various creative threads that led to Spring '26 “It is about how it feels, not how it looks,” says Wakeman on the jumping off point for the season.
