It’s cut from panels of our sumptuous Melton wool fabric – a dense, durable cloth noted for its smooth, felt-like surface – and constructed with notch lapels and three buttons through the front, recalling 60s styles while emphasising the relaxed, pared-back mood.

“Rich and ordinary,” offers Nick Wakeman, of the atmosphere of her Winter 26 collection. The idea of a version of “modern bohemia” or a suggestion of “comfortable laziness” seeped in too, as she reflected on the notion of “people being at home in our clothes - both literally on their sofas, and figuratively in terms of how we want them to feel while in them - a comfortable contentedness without preciousness or particular effort.”
